Between Serra do Oural and Serra Amarela stands the Hotel Cotto do Gatto in complete harmony with nature. It is located in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, which has around half of its territory within the Peneda-Gerês National Park. It is a municipality of contrasts, rich in Heritage, Gastronomy and Tradition. The town reaches its peak during the Municipal Festivals from the 19th to the 24th of August with the São Bartolomeu Pilgrimage.
This unique property, surrounded by its vast gardens and natural landscapes, located in the heart of Alto Minho is the ideal place to experience a sensorial experience surrounded by a unique atmosphere.
Ponte da Barca is a paradise to be discovered for its history and culture, but also for its natural charms. The fact that half of the territory is in the Peneda-Gerês National Park earned it the title of "Natural Biosphere Reserve". "Naco à Terras da Nóbrega" is a tribute to the wise hands that over time, in these valleys and mountains, gave their wisdom and love to the rich gastronomy of this territory so that today we could present this dish composed of veal meat grilled, tender and juicy, accompanied by a delicious chestnut purée, sautéed greens with walnuts, red fruits and a Vinho Verde wine reduction from Ponte da Barca.
